Promoting its identity redesign by branding agency Edenspiekermann, innovation festival and business collective NewCo launched a new site. Created in collaboration between NewCo’s in-house team and digital agency Postlight, the new site showcases photography from NewCo’s global festivals, and content and video from its new publication, NewCo Shift. Edenspiekermann’s bold designs differentiate NewCo and its media portfolio’s sub-brands. “We wanted a site that better explained what we do as a company,” says NewCo’s general manager for media and product development Hayley Nelson. “We have events. We have media offerings. We have opportunities for sponsors to activate across everything we do and support for affiliates around the world to set up their own festivals. Our new site makes it easy to find these capabilities in our navigation bar at the top and in the site footer.” A quilt-like display of colors across the footer shows NewCo’s reach, with vibrant colors defining its current locations; these colors provide different palettes for location-specific pages. Nelson states: “It gives us a much stronger sense of how colorful we are as a company that operates in so many markets—truly global.”
