Not only did London-based cultural and arts venue Omeara’s site need to reflect its brand identity and interior design, it needed to reflect the venue as a whole, including the delineation of Omeara’s different spaces—such as Cantina, its bar and restaurant. London-based creative agency Studio Juice’s solution features individual pages for each space within the venue, combining rich imagery and copy to bring out each one’s unique character and offering.

Built in a modular fashion, the site encourages users to navigate by suggesting related content to what they are currently viewing, including similar gigs and events, news stories and a mailer subscription form. Pages for each of Omeara’s spaces contain modules that can be added or removed depending on specific requirements—galleries, booking forms or menus—giving each page a bespoke feel while keeping everything consistent. Studio Juice applied 20 different kinds of modules across the site, each with its own SCSS file, enabling them to be styled individually; all share certain constants like color, fonts and spacing. Eleven of these modules also contain JavaScript files that add functionality.

These different modules clearly separate Omeara’s spaces and offerings and conveys greater brand awareness to online visitors. For example, on Cantina’s page, users can reserve tables for an upcoming visit or request a group booking. Another site feature, Omeara TV, collates video content from the venue’s sources into one in-house channel.
