Highlights: Crisp, white design with pops of PAVLOV orange represent the agency’s clean, lab-like office environment and pay homage to its scientist namesake, Ivan Pavlov. Exploring the homepage reveals an inspirational art wall, 360-degree virtual reality office views and a live puppy cam. The portfolio work is showcased with featured selections through the homepage, which is shown via a mix of large colorful imagery and embedded videos.

Challenges: Solving how to communicate our team’s talent, creativity and personality on-screen in a dynamic and compelling way that both gives users both the facts on what we do, and also a peek into who we are.

Favorite details: The “Experiments” section of the homepage is a playground of surprise and delight with an interactive matching game, a voice recognition contact form, a user poll with voting results and even a Rorschach test. We are proud of the cutting-edge development and designs required to achieve these features to set PAVLOV apart from other agencies.

Navigational structure: The unique navigation encourages users to explore and discover the treats throughout the site. The slide-out menu provides a more conventional way to learn more about the firm, see work, find services, read news and reach contact information; however, these sections also offer an organic layout of robust content to meander through and enjoy.

Technical features: The brain neuron homepage background responds to user-initiated mouse movement and mobile device movement that use gyroscope Three.js 3D library technology to depict 3-D objects in a web environment. The speech recognition contact form was achieved with the HTML5 voice recognition API using the annyang! javascript library. The virtual reality video content was shot using a Ricoh THETA V 360 Spherical VR camera.
