Background: With steady success in the nutritional bar market, PR Bar was ready to take its company to the next level. To differentiate itself from competitors, PR Bar looked to us to create a new brand identity and an elevated website experience. Infused with compelling messaging and immersive imagery, the website was strategically designed to generate brand awareness and inspire users leading active lifestyles, health conscious individuals and elite athletes.
Highlights: With the goal of creating an engaging experience, we designed an interactive accordion on the homepage that immediately captures users’ attention and showcases PR Bar’s products. Vibrant colors, high-quality imagery and graphic treatments are implanted throughout the site, encouraging users to continue exploring. We also created a custom inspiration grid that promotes ambassador stories, customer quotes and highlights.
Challenges: In order to fully express the brand’s aesthetic, we needed to develop highly stylized components that were consistent, reusable and responsive across all touch points. While the experience pushed both our design and development teams to challenge their limits, the result is an engaging online experience that fully captures PR Bar’s story while serving as a platform for its digital endeavors.
Favorite details: The level of design execution and expressive storytelling. From the introductory message “Are You Performance Ready?” that captures curiosity to the energetic imagery and bold colors, we’ve created a consistent brand experience that elevates the product and inspires users to explore further.
Navigational structure: The navigation was strategically designed to lead users through the PR Bar story and deliver them to the products page. Additionally, the navigation creates a customer journey by educating users on the science behind the bar, the benefits of consuming the product and an invitation to join the PR Bar community.
Time constraints: Although the strategy was to deliver the full project in the provided timeframe, some of the secondary content was left for phase two. The design and development timelines were adjusted to accommodate deadlines, but we were thrilled with the end result and are looking forward to embarking on the next phase.
