For Formula 1 racer Jackie Stewart’s fundraising campaign Race Against Dementia, design agency Brand Union designed and developed a site that extends its branding work and typeface, created with London-based type foundry Colophon. The site’s fragmented layout reflects the disorientation of dementia, with content appearing and transitioning at varying speeds and directions. Navigation divides the site into four key sections: home, who and what, story, and how to help. Interactivity encourages visitor exploration, with some elements springing to life as users scroll over them. Hand-built animations in modern CSS techniques with manual coding enabled Brand Union to develop animations without bogging down loading times. The fundraising campaign’s online presence has increased quickly since the site’s launch, with many visitors donating to the cause.
B-Reel’s site uses interactive elements to demonstrate the H5 headphones’ capabilities.
