Founded in 1174, the St Johns Hospital has served the community of Bath, Somerset, United Kingdom, for more than 800 years; it also has served Bath in a multitude of ways, from charitable functions to providing elderly residents with social gatherings and activities. To celebrate the hospital’s rebranding as the St Johns Foundation, Bath-based creative agency Mr B & Friends redesigned its site to visually set it apart from other trusts and foundations. “Working closely with the client, it became clear that the new St John’s Foundation website had to be effective to a broad audience,” says Rob Lowe, digital director at Mr B & Friends. “To new visitors, the site needs to explain what the Foundation does, And for existing users, the website needed to be a source for help and support.” With a rich image library and a friendly, engaging UI, the site not only tells the story behind the St John’s Foundation, but also offers help and guidance for those who need it.
