Responses by Lewis Communications

Background: SweetBay is a new residential community in Northwest Florida, where the homes are thoughtfully constructed and the residents are neighbors in every sense of the word. To increase home sales, Lewis Communications elevated the entire SweetBay brand. The result was a fresh consumer experience, and the redesigned website enabled users to experience the community before visiting in person. It also served as a sales tool, allowing prospective buyers to find out more about the property, express interest and receive follow-up communications.

Highlights: When users step foot on the SweetBay property, they feel every immaculately designed detail. Everything from the new logo, color palette, brand identity, language and custom lifestyle imagery now communicates that quality and attention to detail to those searching for their next home.

Challenges: With peak tourism season in Northwest Florida upon us, we had a tight production window. So, the current website shown is designed to primarily generate leads and elevate the brand’s digital presence.

Navigational structure: We relied heavily on both user personas and client priorities when designing the site user flow. Generating leads was our client’s main goal, so creating a clear path to request information was tantamount. We incorporated call to actions directly into the navigation to drive more leads and create a shorter user journey.

Technical features: In addition to the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the site was also built on the Wee framework, implementing the Vue.js library for certain components. The site is powered by Craft CMS, which uses Twig as a PHP templating engine.
