The Michelin Man has gone through several iterations since his introduction in 1898.  He's recently been fine-tuned for the 21st century as part of Michelin's "Better Way Forward" campaign. Although it's not exactly long on content, this site does a nice job of showcasing a 120-year history and presenting Michelin's commitment to roads that are safer, greener and more fun to drive.

• Visitors to this site will definitely need a high-speed connection, a recent version of Flash and a bit more upfront time for the site to load.

• There's also nice integration between the computer-generated parts of the workshop and the video and photo assets

• Floating links are offered as a supplemental navigation device throughout the site.
