Backpacking across Europe is practically everyone’s dream. Curated by James and Susan Feess, The Savvy Backpacker offers travel planning to those who seek to travel across Europe without breaking their backs or their bank accounts. By Romsey, Hampshire, UK–based digital design firm FHOKE, a new site design guides visitors to the important content they need, with subdivisions now organizing The Savvy Backpacker’s articles into “City Guides,” “Reviews” and “Travel Tips.” The navigation system puts special importance on the City Guides section, as this section will expand as Susan and James complete more guides. The site was built with the WordPress CMS. “This is by far the best platform for a site such as The Savvy Backpacker,” says FHOKE cofounder Ben Bush. “It's quick, flexible and ideal for a structured, article-driven website.”
