Background: A key part of production company Smile’s rebranding, this website mainly seeks to showcase the brand’s potential and attract both agencies and emerging talents in the field of video direction. We designed a fresh, visually driven platform that highlights the impact and performance of the videos, placing a strong emphasis on aesthetics and user experience.
Design core: The core features of the site focus on strong visuals; smooth video integration; and a clean, minimal layout. One of the most unique aspects is the animation style—it moves with intentional glitches or stutters, which we designed to give the site a more experimental and creative feel.
Favorite details: We’re proud of the dynamic logo, which constantly changes and floats above the rest of the content. It acts like a second visual layer, creating a sense of depth and making the browsing experience more engaging. This idea of two layers of information—the content and the floating icon—adds something playful and creates a cool tension on the site.
Special navigational features: One detail we’re especially proud of is the smooth transition between sections and the way videos are displayed—always in motion, always alive.
