This site supports a traveling exhibition organized by the Yale University Art Gallery. It’s both visually satisfying and easy to use. Consisting of static text and imagery it’s an engaging interactive experience from which content literally unfolds as links are clicked. It goes without saying that any interface created for an exhibition or art museum, can’t overshadow or compromise the presentation of the art. Unfortunately, anything other than a white backdrop could be considered taking a quantifiable risk. It’s one of the reasons why this inventive and colorful graphic presentation is such a wonderful surprise.

• The site’s sole purpose is to call attention to and inform people about The Societe Anonyme and Yale’s traveling exhibit.

• Content includes a number of pieces from the exhibition that launch in a postcard-sized window that scrolls horizontally with cursor movement.
