Made up of two people—art director, designer, illustrator and animator Jimmy Raheriarisoa, and developer and animator Antoine Wodniack—French creative studio Waaark kept its portfolio site short and sweet, letting the design and content speak for its capabilities. A cute color palette and isometric vector illustrations demonstrate Waaark’s influences. Artful SVG animations provide smooth transitions between content. Waaark created the site’s animations in Adobe After Effects before exporting them to SVG with the Bodymovin plugin by developer Hernan Torrisi—on the plug-in, Raheriarisoa and Wodniack agree: “The Bodymovin plug-in will change the industry of web design. Now that motion designers can have more important roles in website creation with Bodymovin, they will be able to execute a lot more creativity.”
