Based in Toronto, Well Told Health is a new kind of apothecary and a modern source for completely clean supplements that invigorate and nourish with organic food. Needing an e-commerce site for online sales, the brand turned to Montréal, Québec–based agency Blue Badger to build the site, with creative by Geneviève Lapointe and an in-house team from Well Told Health.

Wanting to strike a perfect balance between transparency and powerful aesthetics, the creative team included a lot of information and education about the products. With the help of a custom-billing model layered atop Magento 2 software, the site itself is big, bold and easy to navigate. The mix of stylized fashionlike photography and illustrations, and the sans serif fonts both enhance the products and keep the site accessible and friendly. The fresh, happy background tone with its clean, modern look is also a far cry from the green and beige that users usually see in the “all things natural” category.

One thing to note about the site is that it’s very product-centric, giving the user the capactity to quickly understand the benefits and ingredients of each product, as well as the choice to make a one-time purchase or sign up for a subscription. Although it just launched two weeks ago, the site is already attracting a lot of attention—not only from consumers and the press, but also from potential brick-and-mortar retailers.
