Responses by Yoichi Kobayashi.

Background: I have been a front-end developer for more than ten years and created this site as a measurement of my current skills. The site’s intended audience is web designers and developers. I also wanted to see if I could place on the FWA and Awwwards.

Technology: three.js and Vue CLI.

Favorite details: The onibi object and its fire effect on the homepage. A ghostly fireball in Japanese folklore, onibi are often seen in video games but rarely in web design, so it feels fresh to me to incorporate it into the site. It was also a great way to express my identity as a Japanese web designer.

Challenges: Using the three.js API properly in a Vue CLI environment. The two are completely different libraries and not interchangable, but I think I have implemented them successfully.

Navigation structure: There is no special navigation feature, but the DOM and WebGL are moved up and down to interpret the permutations of the pages as visitors navigate through them.
