Das verlorene bataillon' (The lost battalion). Marco di Lauro and Takis Würger spent three weeks with a unit of German snipers in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan. For the first time in the history of the Bundeswehr, the German Army allowed a photographer and a writer to live with soldiers, patrol with them, share food, shelter and fight with them.
