“The villa Noailles, an early modernist house in southeastern France that hosts exhibitions, commissioned me to create a photographic report about terres de salernes, the local clay that led to the development of a rich ceramic tile industry in the French commune of Salernes. I documented the commune’s old-fashioned process of creating tiles, and my work was exhibited during the Design Parade, villa Noailles annual design event.”
