I was elated to design the titles for Wes Anderson's latest film Moonrise Kingdom this year. I was commissioned to create a typeface for the end-credits and to letter the opening credits, but ended up creating a typeface in two weights so that they could use it extensively on posters and other media. The script evolved enormously from start to finish, but ultimately it combines tradition, handcraft, and captures the naivete of the children in the film because of it's playful imperfection.
