"When I got a call from the art director explaining a poster for a traveling exhibit of Chinese Golden Monkeys, I knew it was an opportunity I had to make the best of. I've always enjoyed painting animals and this was a chance to showcase my abilities. In the end it was well recieved and my enthusiasm was rewarded by a Silver Medal in Illustrators 31. I was thrilled. My wife, Kim, loved the painting and the original hangs in our living room."
