Seeking to collaborate with creative women? Or interested in how women are contributing to the Twitter conversation on design? Women Who Design, created by the venture capital firm Sequoia’s product designer and developer Jules Forrest, collects the Twitter profiles of women creatives into an easily searchable directory. The site organizes profiles depending on generated filters; as Forrest explains, “if you’re looking to find women in front-end development, you can click on the developer feature to see which women identify themselves as developers in their Twitter bios.” Forrest built the site in CSS, Cloudflare, Heroku, Firebase, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, NodeJS and the Twitter API. Since its launch, the site has received more than 29,000 visitors.
